Sublimation printing, or dye-sublimation, is a popular digital printing technique, because it allows full colour coverage.
Artwork is digitally reproduced, onto a sheet of special sublimation paper which is then transferred onto a blank product using a heat press machine applying both heat and pressure.
The heat allows the ink to transform, from solid dye particles into a gas. (This process is known as sublimation) The particles then revert back into a solid state. Bonding them to the special coating on the blank product.
Our high-quality Sublimation Tea Towel produces incredible printing results because the face is made from microfibre polyester velour, but cleverly the reverse side is made from terry cotton towelling, which is perfect for drying the dishes!

Press for 200C for 55 Seconds.
It is good practice to pre-press for 10 seconds to flatten the pile.
